Program Description

Adult ESL students of all ages are welcome at CACE. Our program is a stepping-stone to English-language literacy for more than 2,000 students a year. CACE provides English language instruction to adults who wish to make a successful transition into American society and develop the skills needed to reach your professional and personal goals. We offer a variety of formats to meet individual needs:
  • General ESL classes
  • ESL Conversation
  • FLEX Individual ESL
  • Citizenship
  • Family Literacy
CACE ESL classes will help you develop and improve your listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, and writing skills. Depending on your individual goals, our ESL classes will enable you to:
  • Continue to study English at a higher level
  • Achieve a high school diploma or GED program if you didn’t finish school in your native country
  • Enter college
  • Begin a job training program
  • Improve your current job skills and/or obtain a better job
Beginning ESL through advanced-level classes are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Classes meet for two semesters, and each semester runs approximately 5 months.
Our experienced ESL teachers work closely with you to help you identify and reach your goals.
Students must take assessment tests before enrolling in an ESL class to determine placement in the proper level.
