Take short notes!
Can you take notes while listening? Listen carefully and understand first. Don’t write everything, but only key words and phrases. You can use short forms like Qn for a question, and symbols like # for a number. Look at the common symbols here, but you can make your own, too.
If you don't understand after listening 3 times, click "Show answer". Then, hide answer. Now, you listen to it again (and again) and shadow it.
Start with "Elementary online dictation", and listen to
Telephone 1, Telephone 2 Telephone 3
If you find the above dictation too easy, go to "Intermediate online dictation", and listen to:
Instruction 1.1 Instruction 1.2 Instruction 1.3
Instruction 2.1 Instruction 2.2 Instruction 2.3
Remember: You are not going to type on the computer. Take short notes (NOT complete sentences!) on the activity sheet. Check your notes to see if you can re-create the sentences.
